How to use it ?
Just pop in your 1/4″ tubing into tubing end, pushing until it won’t go in. To remove, just push in the outer circle on either end and pull right out. You need to make sure the tubing is cut squared to insure no leaks. when you look through the two hoses, the hose that you can see through is the side that is always open. The other side is shut off whenever the ‘high’ side has high pressure. This valve has an (in) port, an ( out) port and two common (tank) ports. The (in) connects to the city water supply. The (out) connects to the pre filter input. The (tank) connects to the filtered water out of the RO and to the storage tank or clean water serving faucet. When (tank) pressure = 0.6 X (in) pressure, valve stops (in) water from reaching the (out). This also stops the waste water from flowing.

The “in & out” markings are on the top of the valve. The top side of the valve is the high pressure side and the bottom side is the low pressure side. The high pressure from the filter housings goes to the “in” on the top of the valve. Then the high pressure “out” goes to the membrane housing inlet. The membrane housing low pressure outlet connects to the “in” on the bottom side of the valve. The “out” on the bottom goes to the tank.
